    Re-mapping RT & LT on Standard controllers?


    I'd really like to be able to re-map the L & R Triggers on a standard controller to any other button, like you can with the Elite controllers.

    (I'm talking at a console level in the accessories section in the Xbox One/Series x dashboard)

    I know you can swap LT & RT, but I don't know why these aren't re-mappable to any other button already.

    This would greatly help me with some games, and I've hoped for a long time for the triggers to be totally re-mappable.

    Not sure if this is the best place to ask for this.

    I remember the old feature request site before it just disappeared a while back. Didn't realise it effectively moved to reddit.

    I am aware of those features and the current shortfalls of not being able to totally re-map triggers to any button and visa versa on standard controllers.

    I guess what I'm asking, is there any way to suggest this feature to the developers of the Accessories App on Xbox?

    I can't imagine it being that hard to implement, especially knowing that Xbox Elite Controllers can already do it. Seems like such a strange omission.

    I don't really use social media (apart from discord in a VERY limited fashion), and this forum is the only place I could think of.

    Appreciate the response.

    Hello Totoro, unfortunately the xbox controller's mapping session and accessory settings is somewhat limited, however you can create a profile on the controls and you can map two buttons, swap handles, reverse the Y axis, swap triggers and turn off vibration.
