Re installing FS2020

OK I will attempt to delete and re install FS2020 using same account and same password

i have the same problem , the installation failed so i uninstalled it and now when i try to re-install it it wont see the drive i wish to install it in (even though there is 250GB free in that drive)

I was installing Microsoft FS2020 Premium Deluxe, download failed and now cannot redownload of a different drive

I have installed al of the 10 dvds abd when i put in dvd nr one snd start fs2020 I have to put in the Registration nr and but then uts written ”it id already used” (something like that. its not on the dvd:s. Last time I reinstall Windows 10 I had to start Windows store and start Fs2020 from there becouse the Registration nr is stored in the store someway where its says I own FS2020 i library. But when I change my hardwear and update Windows to 11 I dont own the FS2020 in library and can nit use the dvd for the installation, becouse after the installing i have to write the Registration number.

So the dvd:s work for the installing but i cant start the fs2020.

i deinstalled the app 3 times.....now the installation is going on.....

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.

You can refer to the following scenario to re-read your FS2020 license.

- Open FS2020 - get "Insert game disk..." prompt; left Window open

- Open Digital Ownership page for FS2020 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/digital-ownership/9nhnch1hdgg5?activetab=pivotverviewtab)

- Sign out - Sign back in to make sure the account that has Game Pass is selected

- Install should be available; target appropriate device (I had two) that has the game installed

- Wait (not sure if it is needed, but it took me 2 restarts of FS2020 before it worked)

- Close and reopen FS2020

Another reason is that your network is currently unable to connect to Microsoft's servers, and since FS2020 has a very large amount of map texture data that needs to be rendered instantly from the servers, you can change your network environment to a more stable one, such as replacing your WIFI with a gaming network, turning off all VPNs and proxies, and turning off your triple-standalone firewall program.
