Re-enstating friends on friends list

Hi I'm asking about a small hickup with my Xbox one, I was playing with my friend [Mod Removed- Personal Information] the previous day but today she for some reason disappeared from my friends list so I tried to add her back however when
I found her and tried to add her it said quote "Sorry, we can not save your changes right now please try again later." How ever it has been almost a whole day now yet the problem continues I attempted to see if the problem would happen with others so I tried
deleting obsolete friends and re-friending them and it worked however my I continued to have problems with my main friend and I could not find anything online about others having similar problems however I might not have just looked hard enough. Help would
be appreciated, thank you for your time.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

Have you tried adding your friend on the Xbox website? If you go under your Xbox profile and select

Friends, you can search up your friend here. You can follow these simple steps to do this:

Sign into your account on Xbox.com
On the top right hand side, select your account and choose the option for
Xbox profile.
Select Friends at the top of the screen to go to the friends tab.

Alternatively you can try using the
Xbox App on your mobile phone or PC and add your friend there.

Give this a shot and let us know if it works for you!

Hey there x3PIC BLADEZx, unfortunately when a user disappears from your friends list and your unable to add them back It usually means they've
blocked you.

If you don't believe it was intentional, I'd try to reach out to them through another means if possible to see if it was perhaps a mistake. Or at the very least, rule it out so we can try other technical support issues.

If someone blocks you there are removed from your list and you will not be able to see their activity or message them any longer. May want to check on that.

It locks on peoples friends list sometimes.

If you remove the person from your friends list and then re add them that can fix the issue.
