RDR2 will not play offline. Yes i tried that already

Updated my xbox 2 days ago hotspotting my smart phone.

Did this to add account for my wife.

Home internet is not available in the rural area i live in.

Now RDR2 insists: "Check Your Connection"

This is a physically existing disc inserted into a physically existing xbox that is plugged into an operational electrical outlet.

•YES, xbox is set to "HOME XBOX" on all profiles while online. You cant change that offline. Idk why its stressed that you have to change that "online".

•YES, have gone to:

-Settings

-General

-Network Settings

-Go Offline

No, i did not update the game.

I dont care if its updated.

I cannot afford 100gb over my phone.

Now I cannot play a disc i own on a console i own now?

ARK Survival Evolved DOES work despite wanting a much larger update.

As does CoD Advanced Warfare and Snow Runner

Is anyone else having this problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

The update was released this morning at 8:00 am PST. Please ensure that you go to Settings > Update and pull the update from there and confirm if the issue is still ongoing after the update is complete.

In order to resolve this issue, we NEED more data from the users impacted. We want to get this resolved, but we can't do it without your help. Unfortunately, no one on my team owns RDR2 on disc in order to reproduce this.

Please connect to the internet JUST to send the report. If you can't reproduce the problem online, that's okay. Reports take other diagnostic information that my engineers need in order to investigate this further. What you can do is go Offline, launch the game, and then go Online and report the issue.

Also, my contact in engineering needs to know if this problem exists with other discs (games/movies/Blu-rays) or if it is just RDR2. Please let me know if this issue happens with other discs so I can update them.

As some have stated, since I am not connected to the internet when trying to play offline, It will not allow me to send a report.
