    Rdr1 doesnt work on xbox one s


    I bought the game from the store and installed it. It worked fine for few days and now when Im trying to log in to my profile it says "Sorry, this profile cannot connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix this, download it again."

    Hello Bartek,

    Nilay here and I'm glad to answer your query today.

    This error most often occurs if you've made a gamertag change. To solve the problem simply follow these steps:

    1. Launch a Backwards Compatible title on your console.

    2. Press the Start and Back (View and Menu) buttons at the same time.

    3. Select Manage Storage (you will get a warning that you are leaving the game)

    4. Select Profiles and find your gamertag and delete it.

    5. Press B to back out of the screen and then press the Back and Start buttons again to bring up the menu

    6. Select Sign In or press X on the controller

    7. Select Download Profile to redownload your profile to the console

    This should resolve any issues you have with the gamertag.

    It somewhat helps... i guess the million dollar questions will be: “if it works works on the xbox one (original) but doesnt work with the xbox one s/x, can i assume that this is a firmware item? If so is it a matter of time till the original xbox one stops
    working or perhaps an update for the one s/x that will fix the issue?
