What the hell happened with the adding friends system?! Am I the only one sick and tired of removing people you never even played with???

Yes i know you can go to you're profile settings and block from people from adding you, but then you're also removing the ability to add people YOU WANT TO ADD.

Then I proceed other options, like "others can communicate with voice, text or invites" I changed it to "friends only" but when i play apex legends, and i want to play with randoms, then i have to go back and change the settings to "Everybody".

Please microsoft fix this stupid [Mod removed profanity], i spend 30 min of my day removing ppl off my friends list that i never even heard of or added. No matter what changes you make in the privacy settings, you'll 100% run into another
issue. I'm just want ppl to stop adding me and appearing in my friends list.

Make it to where if somebody wants to [Mod removed profanity]
add you as a friend, it sends you a notification and gives you the option to add them into you're friends list or not. Why is it that if someone adds you, they automatically appear in you're friends list.

Also I know i can block this, but if im in a party with a friend, and they have their friend in the same party as well, it'll block me from talking with them.

Fix this [Mod removed profanity]!

P.S The "following" system is trash, REMOVE THAT [Mod removed profanity].

Or have an option to disable ppl from following you. Ridiculous.

People add you as a follower, you don't see them on your friends list until you add them too.

let them add you, but don't add them back.

That way they are not on your friends list.

I agree the system is terrible, most of the "people" that add me are bots that solicit adult websites and when I try to go back to notifications to report them, the notification for the follower is no where to be found and pops up randomly within a few
weeks.

My friend, Im having to remove random ppl that pop up in my friends list every single day for the past year or so. People that are on pc even add me. I only crossplay fortnite when I play with my RL friend. If someone changes their gamertag then I would
still know the person bc their rl name shows above their gamertag.
