Random Unstable Wireless Connection.

My wireless wifi connection has become unstable from nowhere despite nothing moving and powercycling, reconnecting, and restarting my router and console have not changed anything. This is on an Xbox One S as well

Have you tried to contact your Internet Provider?

Please, change your connection DNS.

Follow these steps:

Go to Profile and System > Settings

In the Settings menu, select General > Network settings.

Select the network you're connected to, then select Advanced settings > Manual

On the DNS field, input these:

Primary: 8.8.8.8

Secondary: 8.8.4.4

Save settings.

If it still does not work, please, if you know how to do it, make a Wi-Fi hotspot router on your phone and connect to it.

That way we can isolate the issue, by testing another internet connection, using your mobile data plan.

Yes wireless connection is unstable. Connect wired connection and will be ok.

I recommend using Xbox on a wired network connection. Wireless network connectivity is unstable.

No problem, and yeah a wired connection is a lot better because other wireless devices or signal emitting devices can cause your wireless connection to become unstable

Unfortunately, the progress obtained while logged out of your account (which can happen if you are playing through an unstable connection) may be lost. It is important that you always play while logged into your account through a stable connection. If your
wireless connection is unstable, please try using a wired connection.
