    Random suspension while playing all day. Is this a mistake?


    So around 10:27pm on April 3rd I received a notification and email from Xbox that my account had been suspended. Super confused I quickly went to the website to see what this was about. When I got to the support page the reason for action says, "This account violated the Community Standards and was subjected to enforcement action." I literally have no clue as to what I did to deserve this suspension. I was playing majority of the day not having any issues. I don't message people and I'm not a toxic player. Also, when I go to the support page, I can't even appeal the suspension. Does anyone know if this is a mistake or glitch? I am completely confused as to why I received this suspension.

    Hi A P. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

    Some suspensions are issued the same day that the violation took place, while others require more time for investigation. Bear in mind that the Community Standards for Xbox have no statute of limitations, and a player can receive an enforcement action at any time for past offences.

    Not all suspensions are eligible for appeal, such as shorter length suspensions and device bans.

    All reports are thoroughly investigated before a suspension is issued so it was not a mistake so at some point you have harassed or been abusive over live.

    As for the date,it could be a glitch.Comms suspensions are either 24 hours/7 days or 2 weeks long.

    The message was not on purpose it was auto correct.

    It can take a few days to receive a response. If they determine they made a mistake when issuing the suspension, they will remove it.

    A case review wouldn't guarantee the suspension would be lifted and it can still take a few days to receive a response from a review, if the suspension is eligible. A suspension would only be lifted if the enforcement team determined they made a mistake in issuing the suspension.
