Random Quest Glitche

Well, it seems that in the middle of the quest "Analysis Interrupted" if you insert the two prismatic cores and return to the crawler before inserting the prismatic core (I had done so because my inventory was full), the quest glitches out. If you re enter the
dungeon then you are instructed to go get the two cores to power the machine, but they are already in the machine, so when you get to where the cores normally are it then tells you to go insert them, but they are already inserted and the old objective indicators
stay active so now there are four objective icons on screen. After seeing that there was no reported way to fix this, I continued roaming the game a little more and somewhere along the line the active quest changed back to "Paradise Lost" asking me to "Locate the
offline pylon," to which I responded with what is essentially rubbing the character all over the pylon and the walls and objectives of the first mission. Nothing seems to work, which is a real shame as I have invested a few hours into exploring the interesting
landscapes and secrets this game has to offer, and I really enjoy the story so far. Any help would be appreciated.

There are some glitches that make finishing quests impossible, here and there, they happen at random. Save often.

Thieve's guild glitch

Frustrating quest glitches. I can understand having my feet stuck in a mountain because I am climbing where I shouldn't be, or random hit detection glitches, but this is the 2nd quest I have ran into that has bugged out. I'm off to try the -finding him at
the docks- and see if that works, In the meantime, If anyone has experienced the "Repairing the White Phial" Forsworn Briarheart glitch, and found a way through it, please let me know! Thanks!

***Just thought I'd share, i read about the Whte Phial glitch, dont take the quest if you have Briarhearts already in your inventory, It is given at Nuerilon's (sp) potion shop in Windhelm. Eat, drop, store or mix your briarhearts from your inventory, then
take it. Apparantly, thats how to finish that quest. Godd luck!

It's a glitched quest that does not supposed to be active ever, but thanks to people modding the game this sprung out and spread like a virus. Nothing harmful comes from it, just you can NEVER complete it. If you host a game and someone joins your game they
get that quest right away and now they are stuck with it. You got it by joining a random or a friends game whom had it. Personally i don't want the glitch so I only play with friends, avoid random people, host myself if they do have it.

If it is a Miscellaneous Quest - some of those are glitched (still!)

Did you try going back to the original quest giver?

If they don't have any reaction to your finishing the quest - then it is glitched.

I have 4-5 glitched Miscellaneous Quests (including a Word Wall one!)

Now the "Animal Extermination" quest is bugged. I'm supposed to kill a saber tooth tiger at Greenspring Hollow but I had killed it long ago when wandering around. Now it's dead body is there with an arrow pointing to it! I tried raising it from the dead
and rekilling it. But, that didn't work. Now there is an ash pile there (that floats in space) with an arrow pointing to it.

I don't mind a random quest being glitched, but unless I finish this quest, I cannot proceed with the Companions and get rid of this pesky Lycanthropy!
