random port and latency problems

Hey there,

I now have quiet a while an internetproblem with my consol or router. Normally everything works fine, though the router or the console sometimes struggle to find each other( they have 2m airline between them, with nothing in the way). But sometimes I have
a short connection problem and then I cant connect to there games and have problems in online games. The next day everything works fine, but for the day I cant play with friends or any multiplayer game.

I am online afterwards and can talk with them via xboxparty, also my update rate is normal anf i have an open NAT

Some background information: I tryed to restart everything(console, router, game, reconnect with the router)

I have this since I moved(1/2 year)

I opend every port for it manually and i have done that before moving also (does not had the problem before)

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issue with connection. Does this happen around certain time of day? What errors do you get when you are unable to connect? Remember also, during this time there are a lot more than usual
online as most the world is staying at home so this could also affect connection.

There is no certain time it happens, and no time were it happens commonly. I have no error code or something. I think that some ports get closed from my router to the console or the other way around. It has and is still happening since 1/2 a year.

I think the latency you get is how your modem/router open ports for the xbox...

So try to check the port on it!

I also have this problem in Florida. I just checked my latency on my computer and it is 12ms after calling my ISP and refreshing the feed. I check on vis System Setting/Network Settings/Network Statistics, and it gives me a latency of 181ms. I am getting
dropped off of Destiny infrequently now that I set up Port Forwarding, but I can see now that it's a problem that is not the fault of the ISP, is it?

Ping and Latency is what MP is matchmade with, with a tiny, tiny bit of rank, latest game score, maybe some stat stuff, but 99% of it is Latency and Ping, the "rest" seems really random and its always been like that in COD. No "skill based" matchmaking.
