Random person/people appearing on my friends list.

Hi, so I was playing on Minecraft and I was playing one of the servers (The Hive). All of the sudden, I got 3 friend requests at the same time from different people. I am pretty paranoid so this really freaked me out. A few days later, I was hanging out and all of a sudden when I went into my Xbox game bar, one of the people who friended my were suddenly on my friends list. When I clicked on their profile, it said "1000 friends+you." This scared me so badly tbh. I blocked the dude and was shaking for a bit and I eventually calmed down and went back to playing games. A week later (today), Another one of the people who friended me appeared on my friends list and inviting me to play Minecraft. I did what I had done last time and blocked him.

I have no idea why this has been happening and honestly, I'm very scared.

Also, if this matters, I play on laptop.

@Rippen I get random messages about free Microsoft point scams and random friend requests all the time. I don't need to appear permanently on anyone's list without my permission.

Personally, I don't add random people to my friends list. You should start playing the game online and then you will get like minded gamers to play the games you want to play. I don't like sports games myself.

People add you as a follower, you don't see them on your friends list until you add them too.
