Random hardware issues!

Two months ago I had problems loading disc, kept saying game disc not found insert now or go to store. It's happening once again, and last times cure isn't working... on top of that it's also on instant startup, but is taking FOREVER to startup and randomly
shuts down mid process or even when im in the middle of something. I tried turning on energy saving mode, tried disc auto play.. nothing is working, 3rd and final problem and is second most hated, I have to hold the power button until shutdown then press
eject for my disc to come out. Is there any reason it's doing this? It stared on the yesterday, but managed to get the game to load, now I can't get it to work.

hello, for the last week or so, my xbox has been acting up. many times it won't load past the white logo screen. once in every three times or so it'll actually get to the menu, at which point it won't read some of my discs, saying either the disc is unrecognizable
or that there's no disc at all. weirdly though, it's only with some games. Older ones (like army of two 1) load just fine, but newer stuff like skyrim or the new army of two have the disc read error. Finally, when trying to open netflix it freezes out a bunch.
when it gets into the program it's fine but loading it is a pain in the ***. It's a first generation, and it had to be exchanged three times when the red ring of death was a big problem, but i've had this one for four years. Is it just on it's last leg or
is there something that can be done?
