Random hard lock on Microsoft Edu.

Can anyone help, as we use Minecraft Edu within the school and only on IT suite seems to be having the issue that the program will randomly hard lock the computers. The systems are AMD 5600x, with 3060 8gb Nvidia cards, running Windows 10. All other suites which are Intel I5's run without issue

    :)

Hi, my name is Julian and I'm an Xbox gamer just like you. Let's try to solve your issue together.

It sounds like the issue might be related to GPU drivers or system compatibility with Minecraft: Education Edition on that specific hardware setup.

    Please try these steps:

    1) Update your GPU driver https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/

    2) Ensure that WIndows 10 is completely updated.

    3) Reinstall MInecraft, learn more here https://edusupport.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/artic...

If the issue persists, you may submit a ticket here https://edusupport.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/reque...

MS Account Recovery thinks I am trying to recover an EDU account, but I am trying to recover an Xbox account that uses my former school email that I no longer have access to.

I'm really confused, the EDU account that was used to set up the Xbox account, was a Google based EDU account, not one provided by Microsoft. I am not trying to even get into the email account, I just want to be able to recover the MS Live account that uses it.

Why wont minecraft education edition let me sign in?

    Thank you

    Probably it’s because you’re using a regular-personal Microsoft account.

You need to use a school email. Something like yyyyy @schoolname . edu
