Random Disconnects on Pc with Ethernet but not on Xbox what would be the problem?

Would you provide a few more details.

Are you using WiFi or wired ethernet to connect console, (og, S or X) to router/gateway?

Troubleshoot random disconnects may assist you.

If your using WiFi (wireless) to connect to your router try a wired ethernet cable instead. You may be getting signal interference.

The other thing I would look at before deciding the console is the problem is,

How old is your router/gateway and whether or not it needs updating.

Well, Mr. taidara, three fully-completed episodes on Hulu Plus later, I think it's safe to say you've done it again! I even restarted by Xbox to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

So just an update: I did what you said. I first disabled DMZ, UPnP and Port Forwarding. I then went to my Xbox and set the IP to Automatic. At this point, when I tested my connection I received a NAT error. So...I then did what you said and noted my
MAC address. I went back into my router, made sure that the settings (IP and MAC) matched those from my Xbox under the "Connected Devices" section (from the "device" that I set up before for my Xbox). I rebooted my Xbox and it kept the IP I designated under
the "Connected Devices" section - which is 10.0.0.49. I then re-enabled DMZ and put the same IP from my Xbox and the "Connected Devices" section in as the DMZ host (10.0.0.49). I ran the connection test again with no errors.

I'm currently playing a few episodes from Hulu Plus to see if it disconnects again *fingers crossed*.

One thing I wanted to note is that on my router page, I noticed under the "UPnP" section (which is disabled), there's something called "Enable Zero Config" which IS enabled.
