Random disconnections with a wired connection

Hi I wanted to ask if anyone knows a fix for this, I keep disconnecting with a wired connection. I have tried everything that I could find online that could help me. I use a cat6 ethernet cable, it works perfectly fine on my laptop but on the xbox it drops
the connection. For example I play 2k and r6, mid game ill get kicked from the game, I cant hear anyone in party chat and then ill just be at the menu. I don't think the problem is with my xbox because it just started happening recently and I did not change
anything. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it

id look into purchasing a new router or re donwloading your profile.

Try to reboot your router, if it doesnt work the only thing I can think of is to call your cable company and ask them to bring you a new router or modem (what ever one you use) that should fix the problem. I had the same thing happen to me not too long ago.

Note, that aside from the issues of the 'digital' connection such as problems with Nat (if using IPV4) or failure to activate IPV6, there are physical issues such as connectors, interference and even moisture that ends up creating zinabre in the connections.
Remembering that to browse does not need much but online games are more complex.
