Random and unknown installations

My Xbox keeps installing games one after the other. By the time I get one notification at least 3 to 5 unwanted games have installed themselves. This is really getting on my nerves . . ., how do I stop this?

For the past 2 months (roughly) I have had something trying to install onto my xbox, when I power it on it will try to download for about 5 min and then just stop, it has no information about what it is or what it is trying to install.

Try highlighting it and pressing the menu (formerly known as the start) button. Then see if there's an option to "Manage game"' or "see on marketplace" or something like that. If there is, you can at least see what it is and whether or noty ou should cancel
the download.

If they're not games you added yourself, then that would be a sign that someone else has your console set as their Home console. You would automatically install everything they purchase in that case. You would have to have that person remove your console
as their Home.

I played a few of these with Arkham and Kimi. Im not gonna lie. It was to much work for the money you get. I dont like to work that hard for my money. You must have a plan. Unfortunately we didnt. On top of that I was having one of those off days. I cant
fathom playing one of these with randoms or even searching for a random Plat, unknown, unknown. Perhaps by blocking so many players you have blocked the people that play them. Platinum , Unknown, unknown + randoms equals 80,000 credits for one 40 minute match.
Kinda takes the fun out of the game.

@Bad I did unknown/unknown/Platinum with randoms (and no well thought out strategies) for that last challenge they put up but believe whatever you like.

@Death I'm not even sure you can choose an unknown difficulty when you host but I will give it a shot next time I play.

Always a good idea to save as well before co-op, especially if you are opening it up to randoms. Cheats disable all achievements and it isn't unknown for someone to jump into your game with them on.
