random adds from people

im getting random adds from people everyday that dont respond to messages nor do i know any of them, i even deleted every club i was in to see if that had something to do with it. i been told by a few that they got my name form snapchat, twitter, and my
XUID as well. i dont use any of those apps and dont know how they got my xbox user id so im wondering if there is a way to lock my account/profile so no one can add me without permission form me, not sure if its possible but it would sure be nice lol its
rather annoying for these random people that act like bots and very rarely respond and just seem to add me just to get as many friends or followers as possible, which im not a fan of. hoping there's something we can do about this and wanted to let you all
know theres something strange about, another person even said they were teesting a program of some sort so i dont know what he meant but yeah

i recommend blocking the accounts and reporting them for spam

I think there are some spam accounts out there trying to add people. if you suspect this if the case, I woud recommend reporting them.

Unfortunately you can't prevent people from following your profile, but you can change your privacy/security settings so that they are unable to view any of your information associated with your profile. You can make those changes either through the console
or your account online. As long as a setting is set to either blocked or friends only they will not see your information. I don't like that others can just add me whenever they want either, but knowing that they can't see when I'm online or any of my activity
makes me feel a little better.

Xbox thinks its helpful tosuggest random peopleas friends. I hate it as well and wish there was a setting to block it
