    RAM UPGRADE


    I bought a 4gb ddr3 1333Mhz Transcend for my 2gb pc. I inserted it properly in RAM slot, I turned on pc. It get started for 3 second and off suddenly, it keep repeating. No display on the monitor. If I replace it with my 2gb RAM in the slot, PC started normally and I am using it. What is the problem here ?

    First off, is the RAM on the supported list in your motherboard or PC manual?



    Second, you should always add RAM in pairs, and multiples of 4GB. With only 2 sticks you may be activating dual channel mode on mismatched RAM.

    You need to call your motherboard or computer manufacturer for support

    Please double check your Motherboard and Processor specifications.
    If the new RAM that you’re using has a higher speed than the old RAM, probably that’s the reason

    If the speed and the rest of specifications is the same and if your motherboard supports that quantity

    Could be that the RAM is damaged, try cleaning carefully and try again

    If the issue persist the best option is return this RAM and get a new one
