    Raising a Complaint on the Replacement Controller I have received.


    Hello, I really require a Human and not a virtual assistant to look into this matter. I bought a Xbox Series x/s controller in October and unfortunately last week it become faulty, the A button was no longer working. So I sent it to back to Microsoft using the Replacement Controller option and I shipped it with the Original Xbox Controller Box that it arrived with.

    Today I received my replacement controller. Firstly, it did not come it a Xbox Controller Sealed Box'. It was just the Pad itself within a plain brown box. Secondly, this controller does not work!! Now, I cannot enter the registration number using the Form as I do not have Proof of Purchase from Xbox and the Controller's Box as it has requested during the process!

    So now what do I do? - Honestly, it feels like I got swindled out my time and money here, scan anyone within the Xbox Team assist with this matter. Thank you.

    It is very unfortunate what happened to you, I am very sorry since another player in the Microsoft community knows how frustrating this can be, what they tell you in the previous message is true but for now the best thing I can recommend is that you communicate. with Microsoft technical support through the following link:

    There you will find different contact options, you will be able to express the problem you present and they will probably provide you with better help and better manage your case.

    Remember that this is a public forum where we are just gamers like you helping others with basic problems but we are not Microsoft employees.

    Well generally new devices are listed on your ms account after warranry replacement

    Did you sync the new controller with your xbox?

    If you had read the instructions for the shipment it would've told you NOT to send it with the original box because that invites theft as anyone would .know what Is inside

    I had an issue with wireless controller last year for which I was able to raise a service order # 1498367126 and I have received the replacement too.

    I am unable to do it for console this time however.

    Yes, I understand that the Terms and Conditions state how long the code is valid for and if the balance had expired a month ago I would understand but as it's just two days it seems a bit harsh to not extend the lifetime of the balance. Also, it isn't particularly
    easy to find when your balance is actually due to expire.

    Thrre nothing ms can do as giftcards do have promotional points do have expiry

    Usually a 1 year after issue

    They cant extend it all services have terms and conditions you actually have to follow
