    Quick Resume has been very useful to me while I juggle CyberPunk and Yakuza 7 and whatever occasional game of Apex or FighterZ I get invited to.



    Quick Resume is amazing when I can hop from Apex, right back to Yakuza in a flash. But doing so vice versa creates a problem because when I quick resume back to FighterZ or any multiplayer lobby focused game I load into a lobby that doesn't exist and it takes a moment to kick me out back to main menu of the game.



    When all this happens, I'd much rather have just started the game up from scratch. While a simple solution would be to just close the game manually...thats not what I paid money for, I shouldn't have to think about it. A solution for this could be to have a setting where you can disable quick resume for that game so it just doesn't happen in the first place because some games do not benefit from what is otherwise a very convenient feature.

    Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Not Working on Xbox Series X

    To not use quick resume when on standby:

    - Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    - Select System > Settings > Power & startup > Power mode & startup.

    - Under Quick resume, toggle the setting to Off.

    To remove your game from the quick resume:

    - First, click on the Xbox button on your Controller, then “My games & apps”.

    - You will locate the list of games that are currently used in the feature Quick Resume.

    - Head to the game with the quick resume saved states that you are looking to remove (in this case, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion).

    - In the highlighted game on your controller hit the Menu button (a small button with the 3 horizontal lines icon) to open up the pop-up menu.

    - Now in your pop-up menu, click on “Remove from Quick Resume”.
