Questions: Installing a game

Hello everyone

I was thinking of maybe buying Skylanders Trap Team after watching the kids that I babysit play it (it is a really fun game). They have the disc copy of the game and I will not pick-up the game unless I can find the characters that I want to use.

The only character that I want to use in Skylanders Trap Team is " Whirlwind ", but she is difficult to find because she belongs to an older version of the game.

Before I proceed with my questions, I just want to thank the responders to these questions in advance for their assistance regarding this matter.

If I am able to find " Whirlwind "

.......... MY QUESTIONS ..........

(1) Can I install their disk copy of Skylanders Trap Team to my HDD while I am waiting for " Whirlwind " to be delivered to me?

(2) Can I play the game immediately using my disc copy from my Skylanders Trap Team starter pack or will I have to install the game all over again?

Hello King,

if you install Gears Of War 3 on your friend's Xbox,it will still need the game disc to play.

So there is no need to do it.Your friend will have to wait until he fully downloads it,so he could play it right.

Sorry, that won't work. Your friend will need to purchase the game himself and download it. There are 2 things that can be done here.

1. He can set up background downloads by going to System Settings>Shutdown>Background Download and setting it to enable. This will allow him to set up the download when he goes to bed. When he shuts down the console, it will go into power saver mode and
complete the download before finally shutting down.

2. Invite your friend to bring his console to your house. Hook it up to your net and download the game from there. He can't just bring his hard drive over though. It has to be the whole console.
