Questions before purchase regarding VIP and CarPass.

I recently purchased two xbox one's for myself and my son. I have one xbox gold membership that is under my son's account. I created an account for myself under his account.

I first purchased the digital download of Forza 5. We can both play under our designated xbox accounts.

So I purchased VIP for Forza 5. Unfortunately only one of our accounts gets the benefit of this.

So my question is, if I purchase the full Forza 2 digital package with VIP and CarPass, will I run into the same issue? I would think for $100 we could both benefit from the content.

If not, can I purchase another xbox gold account for myself to get the content?

[/quote] no but what is new is the fact you never win any cars,and you have the option to purchase them instead with tokens you can purchase with irl monies. the gamers don't mind microtransactions if its free/almost free.forza 1 had dlc too,it was free.this
is a very evil trend,worse than drm.brings up the question of how much is too much?60$ for the game,20$ for vip,40$ for carpass,tokens....I don't want to imagine.that lotus theyre giving everybody but those that are having problems costs 100$ usd in tokens.

What was described during my purchase and on the install area regarding the cars for the VIP Pass.

the vip free cars are only for the gt that purchased it. all other gt will have access to the vip cars to purchase with in game cr or tokens. just like with forza 5...

the home console option will prevent you from sharing dlc content across gt's and consoles.

i have this same issue with me and my son's 2 consoles.

Did you purchase it before or after release? Preorders do not count towards VIP.

Yeah I did purchase it the day before. So any purchase made before the release date doesn't count towards the VIP point back system?

Because if they gave cars to the VIP members we'd have 10 pages of complaints from non-VIP members instead of just this one complaint from you.

I consider VIP as a "donation to the developers" because you like the franchise and want to support them with a little extra cash. The benefits are hardly worth the money IMO. Anyone who's just a casual racer or not really invested in the Forza franchise
is probably wasting their cash buying the VIP membership.

With that being said - CarPass members sure are getting a hell of a deal in FM5. So far I've gotten an additional 10 free cars (Road America pack, Long Beach pack) on top of the 6 monthly car packs I originally bought the pass for.
