Questions about starting from scratch

Hi, I originally bought Destiny last year for the PS4 but soon traded it in because I just wasn't feeling it at the time. I always kind of regretted giving up so early on, so when the Taken King Legendary pack appeared I snapped it up. This time bought it
for Xbox One as I prefer the controller and feel much more at home on Xbox Live than I do on PSN. Now I'm really enjoying the game but I've noticed that there seem to be very few players around when the random PvEs happen. When I was playing last year there
were always plenty of people on the maps.

Is the Xbox community generally fairly sparse or Is this just because most of the community has moved onto other areas and rarely dip into the original content? I hope so because then I can just focus on catching up with everyone else (although the inability
to complete PvEs must be damaging my equipment acquisition).

Starting from scratch

Well considering I deleted all of my old complete playthroughs ready to be imported that I had since ME 1 came out which I had atleast 6, including those carried through ME 2 for whatever reason I don't really recall, I shall be devoting my time redoing
all of that before ME 3 comes out.

Plan is to do one of each gender going the Paragon route, then the Renegade route and reaching level 60 for both, and then hopefully one or two playthroughs somewhere in the middle where I might choose to omit NPC characters/squadmates from transferring just
to see what it'll be like. Reaching level 60 for those I won't care as much.

So no really extreme differences in approach just redoing everything.

Starting from scratch

Hi guys n' gals.

How many of you have started from the beginning; made a new character, played all the way through ME with DLCs, then on to ME2.

have you done anything different then what you usally do? or/and have you found anything you didnt see befor?

Personaly im playing ME2 Overlord DLC, I never dwnloaded it befor so its all new to me. After that im moving on to the Arrival DLC and the Shadow Broker mission.

I cant wait, just wish my misses would get her soaps off the tv so i could play it.

Alot of people are focused on the raid and iron banner most of the community is.doing crucuible on some modes and strikes and raids

With release of TTK, Bungie is removing focus from PvE and going towards PvP. Something evident in the fact most people are on raids or in the crucible, and whenever PvEs do happen, loot drops are next to nothing and don't get anything worthwhile.

I'm a die-hard completionist: I do all DLCs and every side mission every time I play. I mix it up with different classes and Shepards, but currently I'm going through ME2 with a fresh import of a level 60 femshep for ME3, even though this is my third time
playing through ME1 & ME2 with this character.

Yes, I currently just finished Mass Effect 2 plus all DLC late last night.

I've done multiple playthroughs of both games. But I decided to make one character, and give it my all in both ME and ME2. Even though I'm a guy, I decided to try out the female shepard role for a fresh experience and came away amazed by the amount of fun
and immersion I had. With Isabella Shepard I had her befriend every crew member aboard the normandy in Mass Effect I could. She didn't romance anyone, I made sure to complete the quests that require you to search various locations to obtain items. For example,
the minerals quest, asari matriarch writings and etc. I did make sure to search every solar system and came across various new missions. Also, used the trinket Sha'ira gives you and did every mission.

In Mass Effect 2, I continued doing every mission. Came across missions I remember doing before, but at the same time it was new. Once again I befriended every crew member, but decided it was time for shepard to find someone. So I directed her towards Jacob.
I did get full paragon mid-way of the game, first time I did this in Mass Effect 2 than waiting later to get it. Overall I changed my approach to situations, the multiple previous playthroughs I went all paragon. But in Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 I decided
to play by "what I would do in this situation." I'm a nice and very compassionate guy so it was second nature to do paragon, but I did perform some renegade in situations I felt was best fitted. Made sure to save every one of my crew members, not a single
was left behind. Long story short, I'm happy I made the changes as I came to enjoy the series even to a far greater degree. I'm very pleased with going into Mass Effect 3 with Isabella Shepard.

I normally play all missions and DLC. If I feel up to it, I explore planets and find some side missions.
