    I want to run an Ark server on my computer for my friends on Xbox while also being able to play on my own console. Can I run a guest account connected to my microsoft account on my computer as the host and connect to it on my main profile on my xbox? is it possible, or am I consigned to paying for a separate profile while also purchasing the game a second time? If so, that's a little too pricy... Might be cheaper just to pay into Nitrado. In fact, it would be. It would save me the trouble of paying 60+ extra dollars for the game and 10 per month extra for the second account. So... What are my options here?

    You will be able to use a secondary account on the PC to play the game on the secondary account in the Pc in Xbox it's possible also to use a secondary account sharing the game making that Xbox the home Xbox of the account that purchased the game

    Not sure about Ark, but for when i used to run my Minecraft prison server,

    it would require me to use a PC, so this must be similar... dont see how you could run an ARK server on an xbox machine...

    I am trying to understand... So, if my main profile is logged in on the PC, I can use my guest account on the Xbox? I don't mind that type of setup because my friends will still know it's me, but does it matter which account I host the server on?

    You can use the game on a different profile in the Pc as long as you have the account that made the purchase in the Microsoft store app logged, then the other account logged in the Xbox app

    Remember reading a post similar to this last week and the answer to this question is yes Microsoft are providing dedicated server, but it is up to the developer to use these servers. Developers get a choice and the Cod developers chose not to use the Microsoft
    servers as well as a lot of the developers so it is not Microsoft fault. They are using their own servers. Seemingly Forza is run on the Microsoft servers and I have heard very good things about the online gameplay.
