Questions about lag/trouble getting into lobbies

So the first two days I played bf4 I experienced little lag. Really only the lag you can expect in an online shooter. when I clicked quick match I would be in a match in 15 seconds.....I was surprised at how smooth everything was running in this game so
I decided to upgrade to premium. The following two days after joining premium I have had difficulty getting into matches, staying in matches and I have been experiencing this weird lag where I run 3 steps forward and then lag 1 step back. I couldn't read
my battle log because it was cycling through the menu like I was holding RB down...which I wasn't. It's kind of a bummer to pay the extra $50 and then start experiencing all these different issues.

1. Is the run 3 steps forward and lag one step back a server issue or should I reboot my internet?
   
2. Does everyone have issues getting into lobbies? It will freeze on a black screen.
   
3. Is it common to get booted out to your dashboard after a match finishes?

I haven't usually got a problem getting into lobbies, the lag on the other hand..

 

Question about lobbies

Hey guys here again got a question:

Has anyone tried to see if two local players on a single X1 can join a lobby?? I'm kind of curious to see if KI has done what other fighting games have yet to do...

The problem though I'm not if the bug save glitch has been fixed or not so I honestly don't want to take a risk as I had it happen to me five times before(Seems ok right now of course.

So if anyone has done that yet let me know please.

 

Hello there, and I will tell you what my experience has been with the game.

1) I have experienced the 3 steps forward 1 back lag, even in vehicles at times.. Try this,, look in the server browser in game and only select serves in your country . IF you are in the US, click on the West and East Us servers. Has helped me out.

2) I have had this issue, and the only real fix if youcan do it, is get the battlelog app for your smartphone, or use the battlelog.battlefield.com website, and select the server you want to join. IT will join that server everytime if there is an available
slot..

3) This is not common but can happen, I would click on other apps or games you have played, click on the MENU button on them and you should be able to QUIT them. BF4 is a very memory intense game, Or just restart the console, go right into the game..

#1 is a server side issue, usually when the levolution has been activated, lag ensues.

#2 is a also a common glitch. You have to quit the game upon the infinite loading screen.

#3 is called crashing. You see the game is highly unstable, and every few games you'll crash to dashboard.

EDIT: It's also possible #1 is due to you selecting overseas servers, however for myself at least, it's restricted to levolution events.

It's why I disagree with this type of rating system. The only two choices would be either what Facebook or Reddit does...

 

They might as well remove the star system. 95% of people who rate choose 1 star or 5 stars to try and prove their point.....and 95% of those people are trolls. They should probably just include a thumbs up, thumbs down system to keep it simple.

Exactly, and that's what Reddit does, upvotes or downvotes. Facebook tries to remove any negativity by allows likes only.

 

Personally, I don't give a *** about the rating. They can leave it just the way it is because it matters nothing to me.

It isn't about the rating it's more on whether you promote productivity or negativity... which this absurd rating system performs the latter with fluency.
