    Questions about deleting a profile's data, transferring a profile's data to another...


    You see, I've been using my dad's account to game for a while since I was little and had no account but now I have my own but all of the games I've finished or am continuing are still on his account and he gets mad that I still play on his Microsoft account so I want to continue on my account but my little brother has been using my account while I was using my dad's but he made an account for himself so I wanna delete the data on my account and transfer the data from my dad's account to mine.

    So my first question is, is there a way to delete one specific profile's data without clearing the hard drive (If I have to clear the hard drive then is there a way to know which files to delete after I back it up so that when I transfer the files back to the Xbox, everything of that one profile is gone)?

    If there is no way to do that then my second question is, is there a way to transfer everything I have on one profile (including data) onto another profile?

    If there is no way to do that as well then since Xbox doesn't support File Explorer now, I wanted to use OneDrive but since I'm using the OneDrive from my dad's account, his OneDrive automatically signs him in with his Microsoft account and since I'm currently using his account, he would get mad if I download files into his OneDrive which leads me to my last question, is there a way to sign out of my OneDrive account without signing out of my Xbox account?

    If there are any solutions to these questions then please write it down, it would be greatly appreciated!

    nothing can be transferred to another account, you would have to create a new account and start from scratch, if you make the console the home xbox with your dads account then you can use the games purchased on the dads account with your new account.

    Content cannot be transferred from one profile to another.

    But data ie, game saves and DLC can be transferred from one HDD to another via a data transfer cable, but will only work under the profile that it was downloaded into.

    There are two ways to transfer data.



    The first is the transfer dialogs. That will delete the data.



    The second way is to cancel the transfer windows, then go back into System Settings, Memory. From there you can manually Copy content from the Transfer Cable device to another storage device. Move is only required for Gamer Profiles and any save data that
    won't Copy.

    You can't switch profiles or transfer data. Either delete the current profile or register a new one
