Question-Why is my router showing Xbox One wireless as active when it hasn't been turned on in ...

Can anyone answer this? The console is off. Has been off for days. There were no pending downloads to continue before turning off the console days ago. Why is the wireless up and active on an off Xbox One console with the console turned off for days?

Connection problem - HELP

Hey guys,
So it's been about a year since I bought my Xbox 360 (newer generation), and my Xbox Live connection works 2 days out of 3. I use wireless connection. My Xbox is pretty far from my router, but when I connect to a network, my router shows up and there are usually around 4 bars. When I click on "test connection", this is where it tells me that the console is unable to connect.
Did anyone had this problem before?

This may be common knowledge but when I turn on my pad it shows on my routers ARP/DHCP table as an active device, I didn't realise it connected to the wifi network as well as the xbox ?

If your console is set to instant on then it will remain connected to the internet even though it's not switched on.
