Question related to alias

Hello BearloverHaru, it's a good question, however what happens when you change an Alias, you don't transfer the items from one account to another, they're still there, you just change the email that logs in, and the ideal is to create the secondary Alias and not delete the primary if you still receive emails and other things by it.

If your Minecraft is in one account, and Fortnite in others, you won't be able to place your Minecraft account as Alias from your Fortnite account, the system only lets you create new Alias, not use others already created.

it also keeps asking for my password when i sign into the xbox one is this related to the primary alias change.

My own account I put as priamry alias instead of my mom's is still working just fine. But i tought i could remove mom's account as alias so all the info related to my xbox would be transfered to my new priamary alias. But I guess I was wrong.

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in learning more about keeping an alias after removing it as the primary alias, and you would like to make your Gmail account the primary alias. The email address will remain
on the account as a secondary alias after you remove it from the primary alias slot. Once you

change the primary alias on the Gmail account, you will still see your old email address on the list. If the old email address is a Microsoft email address like @outlook or @live and it's removed, the email address will be deleted permanently and cannot
be reclaimed after it is removed. You can assign a third-party email address to another Microsoft account.

In order for you to use your Gmail account as the primary alias of another Microsoft account, you need to remove it from the account when it is a secondary alias. This means removing it as the primary alias from the Microsoft account that has it. The
