Question related to 2 factor authentication

I am currently in the process of composing the following inquiry for the Microsoft forum. My primary Microsoft account is linked with Outlook. Additionally, I have associated two Gmail accounts for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) purposes. It is worth noting that I also utilize my PC password as a means of unlocking my system. Unfortunately, my primary Microsoft account was unexpectedly disabled due to a perceived violation of the Terms of Service (TOS). Regrettably, I am uncertain about the specific reason for this action, as my primary use of the account was for playing Minecraft.



While attempting to resolve this matter, I came across a Microsoft video on YouTube, which indicated that accounts linked with 2FA may not be recoverable. I noticed many comments on the video from individuals who, like myself, primarily used their accounts for gaming. As a result, I am contemplating the possibility of permanently deleting my two Gmail accounts in order to remove them from the 2FA configuration on my Microsoft account. It is important to clarify that the PC password I employ for login purposes is not technically considered 2FA.



My main query is whether deleting these two Gmail accounts would effectively remove the 2FA association from my Microsoft account. This action is being considered as a potential solution to regain access to my disabled account. I kindly request guidance and insights from the community on the viability of this approach for resolving my predicament.
