    like the title says ive a very big question reguarding a game called mark of the ninja and today i just bought it on the 360 and im hoping i still am able to get the upgraded version for free when it comes out.

    Why isn't it so easy to play Xbox 360 games on Xbox One?

    a few games have allowed u to "upgrade" to the next gen version (destiny) and some have had discounts. Its up to the dev to decide if they will make it backwards compatible, release a next gen/remaster or both

    Next gen what a waste of time

    Just because a developer does a 'remaster' doesn't mean they aren't also working on new games you know. Unless a remaster was exclusive to the Xbox 360, the remaster will likely come from the PC version. This is a much easier process as the game doesn't
    have to be recoded from scratch, because the Xbox One and the PC are essentially the same architecture.

    Unless stated by the developers that you will receive a free upgrade of the remastered version, I would assume you won't receive a free upgrade. There may be more information about this as the release date of the remastered version gets closer.

    It's up to the publisher if they allow free upgrades to remastered versions.

    You need to contact Klei Entertainment and ask them, if the remastered version will be free (or at least for a reduced price) for people that bought the Xbox 360 version of their game.

    Hey there. I would reckon they would offer a discount for the xbox one version of the game just like minecraft did with the xbox 360 to the xbox one edition. But this is not guaranteed
