Question regarding banned Xbox Live account

Good evening,

I was wondering why this account was banned about 8 years ago, I honestly can't remember why and I'd like to know. Is also a way to unban it? I am planning of buying an Xbox console for the first time in 10 years and I'd like to see if I can use this old
account.

You would have to try going to http://enforcement.xbox.com to see if it has any information on why the account was banned. Unfortunately since the ban took place 8 years ago, it
is no longer possible to submit a case review and possibly get the account back.

If your old were banned you will need to create a new account.

You could try looking up your account on the Xbox Enforcement page to find out why it was banned. Unfortunately, the account ban is likely irreversible.

Sorry if you never received a response, but below is the only way to contact Microsoft in regards to any sort of console ban or account ban issues/questions.

You would need to make a post in the console ban forums here in regards to any sort of question to why the console was banned. If this is in regards to
an account banning you will need to make a post here.

The Xbox LIVE Enforcement Team are the only ones who are able to ban/unban users on Xbox LIVE. This is not something that can be handled on this section of the support forums.
