    Wondering if someone can help with this please...

    Considering buying Elder Scrolls Online, but am unable to verify if this can be played split screen local co op on the Xbox X.

    On the store listing for the game the base version without the add ons states you can play Online co-op (2-12) or Online multiplayer (2-200). These seem to be the only multiplayer options.

    However on the listing for the 2025 Premium Edition it states you can play Online co-op (2-12), Online multiplayer (2-1000), Xbox cross-platform multiplayer,

    Shared/split screen, Xbox cross-platform co-op

    "Shared/split screen", does this mean it can be played split screen local co op?

    Is the multiplayer functionality different between the two versions of the game?... I'm sceptical as the 2025 Premium Edition just appears to be the above game with the additional DLC/chapters to date, I would be surprised if the multiplayer mechanics are different.

    Searching online I'm getting mixed answers, the consensus seems to be that it can't be played local co op split screen, but the posts seem to predate the 2025 Premium Edition, so I'm wondering if they have added this functionalityin?

    Can anyone give me a definitive answer on this please.

    Thank you, this is what I suspected.

    They should make this clearer on the Microsoft store listing for the 2025 Premium Edition. Listing "Shared/split screen" in the capabilities info is unclear/misleading.

    If you're looking at this page it's digital. From what I've seen, Microsoft
    no longer sells discs through their website.
