After you bring up the Xbox menu by hitting the centre button on the controller, go to the party settings, and then you should see an option for "Voice Overlay."

If you want to remove it, then toggle it off. You can also change where it's located on the screen by selecting "Configure voice overlay."

Hi, I know those overlays are sometimes frustrating but you can disable them. When in a party bring up the party menu and there is a toggle halfway down the screen labeled "Voice Overlay" just disable this toggle and the overlay will not longer display.

These are professional voice actors though. I think you would be surprised at how many characters are voiced by the same actor. They do several voices.

it would appear that there is a glitch with the overlays for notifications (achievements and invites) and the voice overlay (displaying GT of person talking in Party)

if the Power Cycle doesn't work, for a workaround you could turn off the voice overlay in the Party (press the XB button to bring up the side bar then highlight Party and press A then highlight Voice Overlay and switch it to Off)

you can also turn off individual notifications to minimise the disruption to your gaming (although you'd probably want to keep invites and messages on)

How many times do we have to have the voice commands argument? Again, if a developer chooses to do voice commands with a headset, they have to do ALL of the coding for it, which requires extra time & resources that take away from the time to implement other
things. If the dev uses kinect for voice commands, everything is built in for them. No resources from their end, nor extra coding work.
