Question about XB1X

Hello I’m considering getting an Xbox One X soon, I’ve always been with PlayStation but I want to branch out & my question is while I have the PS4 Pro right now is it possible that games might run at 60fps on the XB1X and won’t be able to on the PS4 Pro?
I prefer frame rate over resolution and if 3rd party games run at 60 on XB1X but 30 on PS4 Pro then I’d invest into my 3rd party games on Xbox.

It will all depend on where you pre ordered the console from I would suggest you check where you have pre ordered the console from to make sure you still have the pre order showing with them. And if you require further clarity just contact the people you
placed the order with.

If you pre ordered via the Microsoft store then you should hopefully have some sort of contact us option available on the web site.

 

XB1X Preorder Question

Okay... so I did the preorder thing think last week but I didnt have sufficient funds in my account... lol ... so am I out the preorder or do I get a to pay it off by a certain time? lol if I can get one week from now I will have this sorted.

 

Erm...... this is just my opinion and no doubt there will be some fanboys on here totally disagreeing with me, but here goes.

If your after frame rate then I would suggest keeping your PS4 Pro and enjoying what is available there, in my opinion the frames per second between both the Pro and X will be very similar, certainly not enough for the average user to notice. (can anyone
really tell the difference between 45 & 55 fps?)

The most noticeable thing you'll see is more than likely the Xbox One X will get higher resolution textures, better lighting and more effects, for proof of this look no further than Shadow of War, on both the Pro and X they both run roughly the same frame
rate, the difference is the X version looks much better.

If you really like frame rate, then go for a gaming PC

I was very into getting PS4 Pro while it was rumoured as Neo.

Checking out games and forums and if it would get patches - there were basically none that were all overwhelmed and doing this.

Certainly nothing I saw from Sony with list of games - at the time anyway.

The overall feeling I get it that MS do a better job in haunting down devs to do enhancements.

Not a scientific poll or anything, just a hunch where it goes.

MS are really eager to get this going in a big way.

Sony more like layed back, sure of themselves.

Happends when things are going well for a good while.

X1X will surely have more headroom doing anything - if devs are up to it.

And as MS supplied quite a list - and getting specs from devs - they might feel more obliged to do that.

Releasing for Xbox - and see bigger sales potential on that platform - why shouldn't they walk the extra mile.

 

I think at best I might check out Digital Foundry before buying some of my games on which console, I am keeping my PS4 Pro, I just wanna expand to play Gears & Halo & such but the major appealing selling point to me is Xbox Game Pass. With my frames question
I ask because there’s games like Final Fantasy XV I did not enjoy playing on a base PS4 at 30fps or lower, it felt awful to me & with other games if Xbox can hold a solid 30fps while PS4 jumps around 20/25/30 then Xbox is the way to go in my opinion.
