Question about the Sidewinder FF joystick and steering wheel.

Im not sure if anyone has tried them on an Xbox. The Sidewinder devices were meant for the PC. They are older devices. Its very unfortunate that Microsoft didnt continue to support thr drivers for them.

Apparently they only cared about selling them, not about long term customer satisfaction. It couldnt have taken that much effort to continue driver support for them.

Its really a shame because the Sidewinder FF Joystick and Steering wheel are considered by many to be the best ever.

Personally I dont not have a Sidewinder FF joystick or steering wheel for the xbox one.

If the equipment works for your older Xbox console then it should work with the newer Xbox One X, without issue. Also, I aplogize if my information is incorrect.

Hi, that wheel will not work directly with the 360, as has been mentioned you would need an adapter, these were not produced by Microsoft though and may be very difficult to obtain.

I had to return my Sidewinder wheel when Microsoft recalled them due to the power supply bursting into flames.

My advice would be to steer ( pardon the pun ) clear of that wheel and if you can get the official wireless wheel or something that was designed for the 360.

Microsoft does not care about your peripheral gaming needs because the 360 is not a game system anymore, it's an entertainment system. Quality devices such as steering wheels and arcade quality joysticks and buttons are no longer on the official MS radar,

The best one I have used is the Microsoft FF wheel. Only problem is they no longer make them. The only place I have found any is online auctions and such. Now the MadCatz Xbox 360 Steering Wheel that Gamestop sells is not that bad. It has a return spring
to center the wheel and a shift lever to the side of the wheel. I just never got the feel for it after my force feed back wheel.
