    Question about rolling back from Alpha update?


    Hi

    Im currently enrolled in the alpha preview but this build has pretty much crippled my console (series x), I cant join parties, my media playback has turned to absolute trash and now i cant seem to join a game server in Dayz.
    i get this is a alpha thing and bugs are to be expected but i would very much like to use my console as something other than a pretty black box on the shelf.

    I've opted to go into the furthest ring at the bottom of the page, i cant remember what that is off hand but its just sat on pending...

    Can anyone tell me how long it takes before this alpha update is rolled back or am i just shit out of luck right now?

    new update - no party notifications

    This has supposedly been fixed, along with a bunch of other stuff, in an update that's available for people in the preview program (alpha ring) now.

    So, if you're in the alpha ring, check for updates and you should see it there ready to install.

    If you're not in the alpha ring, or you're not in the preview program at all, I expect they'll roll out an update with a bunch of fixes in it to the public fairly soon.

    Sorry for the issue with the game. Unfortunately, there is no way to roll back an update to a certain point. If on the 360 you can roll back update but when you start back up will update to aquatic release again. On the Xbox one there is no way to roll back
    updates. the updates come from Mojang for the game itself.

    Xbox One X keeps disconnecting with WiFi

    In a recent update over at Xbox Wire it seems this is a known issue and a fix is being tested by the Delta and Alpha rings. Hopefully it gets resolved and rolled out to the public soon.

    Hi, I tried to private message you but it didn't work.

    You have to be in the insider preview to download the avatar beta app. It works on the original Xbox One, the Xbox One S and Xbox One X. It is not rolled out by console model but by which Insider Preview ring you are in. It has now been rolled out to all
    rings.

    Insider Preview has Alpha Skip Ahead, Alpha, Beta, Delta and Omega rings. Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha are invite only from the development team. You can use any Xbox One family of console in any of the rings.
