Question about preordering series x regarding game pass

I have an existing game pass ultimate subscription, do i need to do anything to use the 24 month game pass included with the series x via all access or will my existing game pass ultimate subscription simply transfer over?

Your subscription is tied to your account. So as long as you sign into the same account on the new console, you'll still have it. In order to use the 24 month Ultimate subscription from All Access, you have to redeem it through the console. If you have
12 months or less of Ultimate, you can just redeem it and it will add onto the subscription you already have. If you have more than 12 months, you would need to wait until you have 12 months remaining to redeem the 24 months as you can only have up to 36 months
at a time.

With regards to Game pass core, they only released FAQ's about this but so far it is still a litle similar with Xbox Live Gold. You will still get use the online multiplayer feature on an Xbox 360 console.

But based on FAQ, the game pass catalogue is for Xbox One and series consoles only. Here is what it says on the faq's: Online console multiplayer benefits will be supported on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles. (Multiplayer games not included in the Game Pass Core catalog are sold separately, and access to multiplayer free-to-play games is open to every Xbox player).

Access to the Game Pass Core catalog is only available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.
