Question about playback controls

Windows Media Player already installed in Windows 7 (or a free download if you have the N version). Xbox One Media Player to play that content. You can control all playback functions with Kinect.

Alternatively purchase NAS with built in media server. Use Xbox One's Media Player to playback content. Use Kinect to control playback.

Buy a media remote if you don't have Kinect.

You seem to be adding needlessly complex steps to your media playback.

Does it at least control blu-ray/dvd playback on the system?

The Elite controller is basically as it sounds. Its a higher end controller.

Basically it has more buttons that you can program and edit around when setting up the device to make your gaming experiences more streamlined and personal. It allows for more customization for how a controller's input works basically. With it being higher
end its also kind of pricy. I have one. Its durable and can be worth the money if you play a lot of pro or ranked leagues in more competitive types of games.

Weight, options / customizations, and obviously price.
