    Xbox one X HDMI connection

I would say you have answered your own question.

If it's working with the hdmi cable that came with xbox and not your old one then I would say your old hdmi cable or connectors are not 4k hdr high speed hdmi . 🤔

    XBOX 360 External HD

I appreciate the response and have a few follow up questions. So I went ahead and purchased a new 360S console along with the Data Transfer Cable. The new system works great but during the data transfer it froze before it could complete (about 75%). I am
able to see the data that was transferred and use my new console along with seeing the remaining data on the 'old' drive when I plug it in. I am concerned that if I try and move the rest of the data from my 'old' drive it will erase the data that was transferred
to my new system. Can someone clarify what will happen prior to me proceeding.

Also, for some reason that escapes my new systems HDMI connection is not working. I have it set up using the component connector (which is horrible) but when I use the HDMI port I get nothing. Can this HDMI port on the console potentially be defective? Is
there something I can do to troubleshoot? If I have to return this new console can I keep the internal HD once I resolve the data transfer issues?

Thanks for the great/quick feedback so far!

    HDMI problems

Im having this same problem, the other day I took the HDMI cord from my xbox to use with my DVD player, then plugged the cord back into my console, turned it on and the tv said "no signal". So I tried using the AV cables that came with the console and
it worked. Im wondering if its possible to fix this? or if maybe the HDMI port has a problem?

    I have a 3 year old 360 elite, on a 1 year old 32" dynex LCD tv

My console will not work using HDMI

    Did you try
    resetting the display
? Try deleting your profile (just the profile, not associated content) and recovering it? Try deleting Netflix and redownloading it?

If the console is six months old, call in for repair. Online repair is good for saving $20 on an out of warranty repair, but as you've experienced it isn't entirely stable/reliable.
