Question about my account on the Xbox (Beta) PC app

I set up an account to play some games with the Xbox Game Pass I just purchased for 3 months. I set up my account entered my name and gametag. Afterwads I started my first download. But later on in the xbox beta app I realized right under my gamertag is
a name which seems like another randomly generated gamertag is stuck there. I have no clue how to get rid of whatever it is.

how do I change or remove the part where it says "RepairedBacon40"

Well its been 19 days since I tried to change my gamertag. But in games my old gamertag (that was randomly given even though I didn't chose it ) is still there. Is there something wrong this shouldn't that hard to fix. I tried to check again if I could
change it again but when I go to this link https://social.xbox.com/changegamertag It already says that Ive been able to change to the GT I changed it to. I dont get what
is still wrong?

Hi, after you create your account Microsoft randomly assign to you a gamertag (in this case RepairedBacon40), then you are able to change it as you want for free (in this case you choose Ejder), but for some days the old gamertag remain still visible in
your account...

This is to let other players to still recognize you after the GT change (even if you have just created your account this is a standard procedure...)

Simply wait some days and that randomly assigned GT will disappear

if you're using the xbox app of a pc check the account that has loged in in the microsoft store of the pc, that should be the one which has the xbox game pass ultimate, if you're talking about a phone then use the xbox game pass app, no the beta

Hello again, I have found a -flawed- solution, I can play the Game Pass Ultimate games with my own account, so I won't disturb my brother.

The Xbox (beta) app uses the PC account for the subscription, so only logging in the companion app and the Xbox (beta) app with my brother's account doesn't work, because the Xbox (beta) app uses MY account and not my brother's.

I have then created a second account on my PC, using my brother's e-mail address and logged in the companion app with my account, downloaded a game, launched it, and played with my account. So it works, but it is annoying that I have to switch
to the second account on my PC in order to play the Game Pass games. Maybe in the future they'll make it more convenient.

your mums account should be on the pc, she then signs in downloads the game, then sign in on your name, go to the xbox beta app, sign out and sign in with your mums account, download game, sign out of xbox beta app and sign in with your name, game should
work. your account must also be under your mums family section.

I do this for my kids on their pc's.
