Question about minecraft beta sign up

Is it possible that your friends signed up for the Minecraft Beta in the Insider App?

If that's the case, your friends either need to leave the Minecraft Beta and play on the "regular" version, or you'll have to install the Xbox Insider App, and join the Minecraft Beta as well.

To be able to play the BETA for minecraft you will need to sign up for it on Mojang website.

If you can access the private forum i suggest you put any questions about the beta to those forums, as it is a breach of the NDA you electronically signed when signing up for the beta to speak about it outside of them. But i suggest you just wait it out
for a couple more days, as it was said on the Microsoft Connect site that they are focusing on just signing people up at the moment as the demand is huge for the program and it may take a little longer to get your update.

If you're an xbox insider it could be an issue where you're signed up for the beta version of minecraft!

Can you sign up for Xbox One beta? I could only sign up to be notified about future beta announcements.
