question about linked twitch / xbox accounts and raffles

So my question:

There are some games wich offer bonusses and raffles wenn you link them with your twitch account and Xbox account.

Does this apply too if you watch the specific twitch streams on xbox ?

As long as your account is linked it makes no difference if you watch it on your xbox, PC or smartphone.

You don't need to watch the stream on your xbox. You just need to make sure your xbox account and twitch accounts are linked with whatever else whether that be blizzard account for overwatch, hirez account for smite or ubisoft account for rainbow
six siege. They all need to be linked to receive the rewards, but you don't need to watch it through xbox. Watching it on your computer or phone is also fine.

I am having the same issue. Twitch keeps sending me a successful login, but it just spins on the Xbox app. Neither Twitch nor Xbox shows the accounts as linked. The trouble shooting doesn't seem to have an answer to this question
