question about fortnite account migration from xbox to pc

But, to answer your question, all your Fortnite items are linked to your Epic account. So, if you install Fortnite on your PC and log in with your Epic account, everything should show up just fine. The only catch is with V-Bucks, those don’t carry over between Xbox and PC. Epic and Microsoft keep V-Bucks separate for each platform because of their store policies.

Please note that purchases of Fortnite items made through the Microsoft Store or the Xbox Store are for the Xbox console version of the game and will not automatically appear on other devices. You can make purchased items appear on Fortnite on your PC as well, but to do this, you must first log in to an Xbox console with the Microsoft account you used for the purchase and run Fortnite from there to receive the items from your purchase. Then, if your Epic Games account is linked to your Xbox account, your items should appear in Fortnite on your PC when you log in with your Epic Games account.

If you have no way to access the game through an Xbox console to make them appear on your PC, then I recommend requesting a refund for your purchase through the following link:

If you only play Fortnite on PC, it's advisable to try purchasing your items directly from within the game or through the Epic Games Launcher to avoid these inconveniences.

wait i have a question not about mac but can the microsoft account you use to migrate with your mojang account can be the same as your xbox account?

I have tried that and the replies I got were not very helpful. They were from "Minecraft Gamers" rather than from actual support staff, and it didn't seem like they actually read and understood my question.

I got instructions about migration. Migration isn't the problem; I migrated months ago and had no trouble playing after migrating. The problem seems to be that I changed my Microsoft alias. I still have access to the Microsoft account; it's how I'm logged in on my PC right now. I'm also logged in with that same account on Minecraft.net and it shows that I own Minecraft on the "My Games" page. However, the Minecraft Launcher doesn't seem to recognize that same account.
