Question about Digital download and Hard Copy discs

Hi,

So I got a digital download key for Advanced warfare and redeemed it but paused the download because the 49gb download will chew about half of my internet in the first few days of it being reset.

If my friend lends me his disc so I'm able to download the rest of the game into my hard drive will I be able to play it without the disc because i started it as a digital download (it's like 8% downloaded) or will I need his disc to be able to play it in
future.

Any help would be appreciated

Hard copy vs Digital

Why is it the same price for a digital copy and a hard copy game. I believe it should be cheaper for the digital copy because you aren't getting a disc or the case. Older games are cheaper to buy in stores then they are for digital as well. Why is that? Let me guess......it's all about the money?? Maybe if we all boycott Microsoft until they change the pricing, (even if they only make the digital games $10 cheaper than the hard copy) they will change the prices. But that will never happen. Reguardless if you buy the hard copy or digital copy, you have to download the data before you can play.

A question about Xbox 360 game discs and the Xbox One

I think the best question would be, if i own a physical copy would i be able to get a digital one, but nevermind about that, anyways, thanks for clarifying it, so i guess if any of my discs are in bad condition, eventually i will have to purchase a digital
copy i believe.

Yes you can. Just borrow the disc and install the game from there. Then the download will complete by only transferring the license.

I prefer hard disc copies. As opposed to digital downloads.

There is no program to transfer a physical copy of the game to a digital copy. When you put the disc in it installs the game to the hard drive, as is necessary, but does not make that a digital copy. It still requires the disc and verification to play.
So if you have a new console, then you will need to use the disc to install the games on the new console, and continue to use that disc to play. If you have an all digital and there is no disc, then I would see if you could still return the console to get
one that has a disc drive, or look at purchasing digital titles or downloading free titles such as Fortnite on the Xbox One S All Digital edition.

Is your Bloodrayne: Betrayal a hard copy or did you have it digitally on the 360? If it is a hard copy, you can just insert the disc into the Xbox One console and it will proceed to install/download what is necessary. Hope this helps!
