Pwd problems

Are you sure that you are signing into the same account.

This would be the only reason that it would be saying the password is incorrect.

it was a cox.net email and as we havent had access to that service in over a year we cant get into it. The thing is that MS will allow me to reset the pwd as we know the security question, etc; but still get same message after reseting the pwd....

I'm curious as to why this keeps happening to me every couple months or so. Correct pwd is entered for my live account, and it fails (unfortunately didn't write down the error code) I know it's the correct pwd, because intentionally putting in a bogus
pwd fails with "Incorrect pwd". Soooo I thought maybe my profile was corrupt and deleted it from my local console. Try downloading and it gives me the 80151011 "Can't download profiles at this time" error. I forgot about clearing cache and going through
the whole proof process again, so I'll give that a whirl tonight. All I know is that this is becoming extremely frustrating... Does anyone know why this would keep reoccurring? (Not giving me a real warm and fuzzy about Xbox One, especially if I can't even
play offline games when it can't logon/check-in)

I am running into the same issue and it's ridiculous that I will have to change my pwd (if this is indeed the trick). I will check the other link provided by maxiemuse...
