    so I know my PW for my microsoft account and when I login with it it works, but the same PW does not work for minecraft. Is it possible the passwords are different? I have tried every PW I know for minecraft and so far, none of them have worked. I have
    purchased some items on minecraft and worked really hard on my main account, so if I start a new one I will have to go back to square one. I have tried recovering my PW with numerous websites, though none of them have worked so far. Please help!

    I don't know the exact answer to your problem but with trying so many different times you may have locked your account. You might want to contact the support group for the game for help. https://help.mojang.com/

    Change your pw. this is a blocked Microsoft Account. If changing the pw doesn't fix, Change the microsoft account (windows live ID) on the console.

    xbox live can't login

    yes, i did but i forget what it was. the issue was i needed to allow the xbox in my profile and assign it a unique pw vs the account login pw.

    i had used the xbox in the past with just the account pw i don't recall having to add the xbox and assign another unique pw for that unit in my profile.

    i rarely use the xbox so i guess i missed the sec update about this

    Cant accept new terms on kids accounts

    when a child account is trying to accept the terms of use it shows the email that needs to accept the terms of use for the child account. make sure you are using the correct email and pw to accept.

    if the pw is not valid reset the pw at account.live.com for the email shown on the screen when the terms of use pop up.
