Putting drastic actions like sign-out next to changes like audio settings.

Check your console's audio settings and be sure that it's set to put out audio through the headphones. It sounds like it's a console-wide/account setting or a error, not an issue with the controller or the headset.

Sounds like you need to change your Audio settings on the console to "uncompressed stereo".

[/quote]QFT . Although , i have to admit that i don't like drastic changes in games . A few changes are good but sometimes drastic changes not IMHO. A good example of what you said is RFG , i loved the RF 1-2 FPS and i thought RFG was going to be no so good
when i read the drastic changes THQ was going to do with the game . To my surprise the game ended being good , repetitive as _ _ _ _ but a lot of fun to play it...but again THQ did decide to make another drastic change to the game in RFA and ruined it .

First, try going to Settings > Display and Sound > In the middle, change the "HDMI Audio" setting to '5.1 uncompressed'.

If you still can't get 5.1 audio to your sound system, try buying an optical audio cable and plug that from the back of your xbox one into your sound system and change the settings on your sound system to use the 'Optical In' or a setting that chooses that
input. Don't forget to change the settings like the one above, but under "Optical Audio" choose "Bitstream Out" and change "Bitstream Format" to "DTS Digital Surround." The optical audio port is right between the HDMI in and out ports.

Mine was really choppy, like unwatchable choppy. My wife even comented on it.

I swaped out all the HDMI cables, nope.

After a TON of changes and testing, it turns out that if I had the XBox one set to HDMI, I had the problem. Setting it to HDMI (auto) the choppyness was drastically reduced.

This started with the last update for me.
