Putting a cover on the console can cause a problem?

Hello, I have a Series X and I want to put a cover and I don't know if it can cause any problems. Let me explain, I live in a country area where there are quite a few institutions. The top racks are quite large and I'm afraid some bug will decide to make the Xbox their new home. I have thought about putting a cover and in fact I have bought it, but now doubts assail me. I often see that even though I have not used the console, the top is somewhat hot, very little, but somewhat. I don't know if the console somehow performs any action on its own, even though it's not being used, and putting the case on could cause a problem. If so, I don't know if disabling automatic updates, standby mode, etc., could be solved to make sure that it would never turn on unless I did. Thanks for your reply.

No, quick start will keep it hot, with the cover will burn the console

Latest gen consoles run hot the hotest for series x is 60 degrees so that's normal

You gotta remember ryzen cpus generate a lot of heat and it has to be vented

I've had someone else mention a similar problem on the forums a while back and it did indeed turn out to be the vibrations causing the issue. The person's battery cover was loose and the vibrations would knock the batteries out. Try a different controller
or try putting a piece of tape over the batter cover to solve the issue.
