Push to install a game to Xbox?

Discus and support Push to install a game to Xbox? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So when i purchase a game through xbox live on PC i SHOULD be able to choose to install it on my XBOX one right?     Push to install a game to Xbox?


    So when i purchase a game through xbox live on PC i SHOULD be able to choose to install it on my XBOX one right?

    This has never worked for me.. It always says i don't have any applicable devices linked to my account (which i do).

    I have the xbox set to instant on, and it's linked to my account, but it doesn't show up.. ever..

    If i click on the device list link, it shows the xbox one as being there...

    Anyone been able to fix this yet?

    Yes i did haha :)

    But while having the console on and it now showing up in list, i have turned the console off again and it's still in the list..

    I'll wait until tomorrow, and check things out again, and if it's still there, then it may be fixed just by having it turned on once while accessing game on windows..?? weird..

    Will let you guys know soon..

    Ah you edited it on me :p You should be able to start the remote install while the console is off, yes.

    Check in your settings, I think it's under updates and downloads as well, and make sure it set to keep your games and apps updated.

    Yes remote installations is enabled..

    And yes it's set as my 'home' console..

    BUT... now that i have the xbox turned on (not sitting on standby) it's showing in the list...

    Shouldn't it be able to do it in standby with the instant on feature turned on?? That's the whole point of instant on isn't it? So it can download while 'turned off'

    Do you have the console set as your Home console? and do you have the option enabled from the console itself?

    If it's not enabled, you would do so by

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to System > Settings > System > Updates & downloads.
    2. Select Allow remote installations.
