Purchasing Xbox Gold Live as a gift appears only in Dollars and suggests limited to USA

I have spent two hours getting nowhere again now, I went to purchase gift via Microsoft online store from my UK account, I go to Xbox Gold Live gift subscriptions, select Annual Subscription, It then reverts to 1 month in the next drop-down, lucky I checked,
still in dollars $$$, I then reselect annual sub, It takes me to the enter the gift receivers email, however, due to the dollar signs I check the small print, it suggests the United States Only??

I am so fed up with Microsoft Xbox Support now, hours frustratingly getting nowhere, so confusing, no specific dropdowns, no human beings to empathize or understand, no simple live chat, even the gamer live chat is a robot repeating questions over and over.

Why does it need to be so difficult when attempting to do this with Microsoft account.

There are two Xbox's in the house, the boys have their own accounts I have my own adult account, they can't even share games and I'm told this is due to one being the home Xbox, change the other to home Xbox, however, once you do this you can't change it
back.

I just want both my boys to have Xbox Gold Live, that's it!

I have to buy two separate subscriptions, fine!

I don't live with them, so now I have to go to the house and log in to my account on the Home Xbox One and attempt to buy a Gold Live subscription for the other boys account for his xbox x

That's very strange: whenever I end up on an US store page I get redirected to the UK pages.

Potential workaround: you could buy a gift card for them to redeem against gold time?

that is horrible. try using a gift card and use the gift card for him to purchase it

Yeah i did go to their online store, but it didn't show any of the cards available to purchase i.e. $25 Xbox Live Gift card. Only Xbox Live Day one, and that appeared to be a "deliver to" not a digital download.

Oh well. Is there a suggestions box anywhere?

What you did there is definitely not the solution. Did you change your LIVE region? If you did so, then you'll be facing many troubles in purchasing stuff on the Xbox Store. I did the same mistake, and I regret it. If you want to have full LIVE experience,
it's better to keep your account's region matching your physical one. The currencies are region locked. Meaning for example, you can't buy a gift code from Canada, and redeem it on a USA account, and a USA console. Because these are different currencies, you
can't use Canadian dollars to purchase stuff in the USA.
